Forget yourself."-Henry Miller I am the Human Resources Manager for a small government contracting company in Columbia, MD. I love what I do and everyday is interesting in the challenging yet rewarding world of HR. I also recently passed the PHR (Professional Human Resources) certification exam which I am extremely happy about. :) On June 10, 2006, I was married to a wonderful and talented man, justin. We met in college, but actually didn't get to know each other that well until afterward. He and I are very fortunate to have 3 sweet "baby" cats, Squinkles, Pixie, and Gus. Right after graduating college, I was finally officially diagnosed with endometriosis, which may cause problems for us to have children in the future. Although I have always felt drawn toward being a mother, I feel that if it is meant to be, it will be. In my free time, you'll find me singing whenever I get the chance. I'm also currently in the process of writing songs with justin under our band name, Best Use of Purple. We're trying to finish writing enough songs to record our first CD. However, my husband suffers from ADD, which makes it hard for him to complete things, so this has been a work in progress. Besides music, I also enjoy reading, writing (specifically poetry), scrapbooking, cooking, making jewelry, craftmaking, traveling, shopping, and watching movies. If you're familiar with personality typology, I'm an INFJ. I like my physical world to be systematic and orderly, but spiritually, I am almost completely intuitive. Therefore, my inner and outer worlds are constantly at battle. It's been hard learning to live with my eccentricities, but I'm also thankful to be who I am because it has given me a lot to work with in this world. 200? - 2006  Each day, 10,000 humans are born in the U.S. And each day, 70,000 kittens and puppies are born.
